COLORS (with power point)

The children have to guess the colours.

First the children have to practice with the colors song.

Then, a colour will be represented in a slide with a blank space for fulfilling with its correct spelling. The answer could be found in next slide.

The aim of this activity is to strengthen vocabulary about colors. The activity can be done in small groups or even with all the class asking them directly.

HOT POTATOES ACTIVITY ABOUT AFRICAN ANIMALS

The children have to match the other correct side of the word to complete an African animal name.

I will commence enquiring them the names of the animals. Once we have identified all their names, they shall start doing the activity paying special attention to the spelling. Finally, they will practice all together their pronunciation repeating the names.

The aim of this activity is to strengthen their animal knowledge and their vocabulary about African animals. The activity can be done individually, in small groups or even with all the class asking them directly.
