The children have to match the other correct side of
the word to complete an African animal name.
I will commence enquiring them the names of the
animals. Once we have identified all their names, they shall start doing the
activity paying special attention to the spelling. Finally, they will practice
all together their pronunciation repeating the names.
The aim of this activity
is to strengthen their animal knowledge and their vocabulary about African
animals. The activity can be done individually, in small groups or even with
all the class asking them directly.
